9th Feb – Lizzie Swinford
16th Feb- Lizzie Swinford
23rd Feb – Clair Beckett
From the 1st March TrashDollys will be leading the class over a 6 week period:
Holly's class will focus on using our individual physical sensations within the body to encourage participants to find a personal way of moving, Holly uses aspects of the Cunningham technique, her own movement repertoire with a strong emphasis on improvisation. She aims to pass on a wide range of movement vocabulary, whilst encouraging participants to interpret and combine methods in their own way.
From the second class onwards (8th March), Sam will lead the first 30 minutes of the class with a floor work session for Contemporary dancers:
‘FindingFlow’ workshops are designed to strengthen and broaden participant’s floor work vocabulary. Sam will use breaking, and floor work techniques, as well as his own trademark transitions to encourage finding flow and power in different parts of the body. These challenging sessions will give dancers the tools they need to develop creativity with their floor work and show them new ways to move through awkward positions whilst maintaining momentum.
