Young Apprentices
The Barbican Theatre is searching for for their dance and theatre performance training companies 2011/12.
Working in a professional environment with professional artists, 'Young Apprentices' experience invaluable creative, social and leadership interactions as they develop skills in technique, choreography, devising and performance.
AUDITION DETAILS:
You need to be between 14-25 years old
This training programme is ideal for young people studying GCSE, A Level or HE courses in Dance/Theatre, as well as for those with limited or no previous experience, but with a burning desire to develop skills.
Commitment and enthusiasm is essential!
Dance Audition: Tues 27th Sept 6-9pm
Theatre Audition: Wed 28th Sept 28th 6-9pm

- Do you want to make change happen in your community?
Voices for Change are a group of young people from different cultures and backgrounds who enjoy learning about theatre and the arts. We meet up to share ideas, make new friends, express our opinions, and put on performances and events about issues we want to change.
This term we will be working on:
Migration project: researching their own and other people's experiences of migration into and out of Plymouth and creating a performance.
Shake the Dust Poetry Slam: Creating slam poetry to enter into the Regional final in June 2012
Come along on Monday nights, 5pm - 7pm, to get involved.
