Grants:

The National CATs are supported through the Government's Music and Dance Scheme. Each Student's family is means-tested to assess whether their child is eligible for a full or partial grant. The system is designed to support students regardless of their financial circumstances.

Auditions:

Entry onto  a CAT programme is dependant upon an audition. Auditions normally take place each year in spring and/or summer for entry following September. Please contact your local centre for information. You do not have to have had any formal dance training, but you will have to demonstarte a natural ability such as exceptional musicality and physicality as well as a passion and enthusiasm for dance. CATs readily accept applications who have limited dance experience alongside those who have considerable prior training.
