C-Scape Dance Company – Performer and Educational worker Delivering high quality dance workshops to all ages and abilities as part of on-going educational work linked to touring shows. Performer in Guilty Fingers directed/choreographed by Emma Rice/Anna Maria Murphy (Kneehigh), Debbie Fionn-Barr and Fleur Darkin.
Plymouth Youth Dance Company - Working as a choreographer (Jumpers Playground) and emerging artist with the company during Bugs, the outreach and performance partnership project with the University of Plymouth.
Creative Partnerships – Choreographing and delivering workshops for Closing The Gap (Barbican Theatre) and Wave Armada (Site specific)to young people from Primary and Secondary Schools across the city
Emily has been working as a Freelance Dance Artist for the past six years performing, choreographing, collaborating and delivering workshops and classes to professionals, communities and young people in diverse styles and places. Emily has worked extensively in primary, secondary and further education and has delivered a variety of large and small scale community projects with The Barbican Theatre, Attik Dance,TR2 and Creative Partnerships.
As a performer and workshop leader her work involves C-Scape Dance Company (Cornwall), and Assault Events (Northern Ireland/Yorkshire) working with theatre/physical theatre and dance. She continues to work locally in Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall, collaborating with other local artists and groups, to create, deliver and promote high quality performance and education work for current and future audiences.
